When I was younger, my mother would always take me to Chinese medicine shops in Chinatown. She found ways to incorporate Chinese medicine into dishes to alleviate common ailments like colds and fevers. I came to realize how important it is to be mindful about my daily diet and found new ways to take care of illnesses through natural means. I was inspired to create Wu-Essence, which is a brand that makes Chinese medicine more accessible and less intimidating for people to learn and incorporate into their daily lives. Educating consumers about alternative medicine will lead to more thoughtful buying behaviors pharmaceutically.
Wu-Essence believes in the power of natural remedies. Chinese medicine has been practiced and studied for centuries and we hope to make that process easier for you. Whether you’re a long-time user of Chinese medicine or just starting out, we want your practice tailored just for you. Our mission is to lead you towards a process of healing common ailments that hinder day to day activities. Our well-being experts are always on call if there is any confusion about proper usage or choice of herbs.
