Candid is a nonprofit that supports other nonprofits—helping them grow, tell their stories, and make a bigger impact through trusted courses, resources, and data. Born from the merger of Guidestar and the Foundation Center, Candid carries forward a rich legacy of empowering changemakers. Its original branding system was thoughtfully crafted by Open Studio, a design firm based in New York City.
As a brand designer at Candid, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape how that mission is visually communicated. I work on everything from emails and presentations to print pieces and user guides—making sure each design feels aligned with Candid’s voice and values. A big part of my role has been breathing new life into legacy materials, updating them with a refreshed look and tone that reflects the organization’s evolving purpose: helping nonprofits find clarity, confidence, and connection in their work.
